We also discussed the props we would need for our opening and thought of a simple props list due to the mainly character based nature our opening.

 

Tie - We initially planned to use a knife as the murder weapon but after some tought we decided to use the tie as it would be too difficult for us to achieve the gore aspect of the murders.

 

Briefcase or bag - We decided he would need a briefcase of bag to make him seem more authentic and proffesional as a busy detective.

 

Paperwork - We thought that we would need paperwork in both scenes to make his investigation seem as authentic as posible and we are planning to reseach police investigstions from TV shows and use them as inspiration to create some fake case paperwork.
