In Se7en there are two particular types of fonts that represent different aspects of the film itself and the charactes in it.The fonts are overlayed over clips so it is important they they suit them well. The main bulk of the clips center aroud what seems to be an obsessed character making a twisted scrapbook of people. This means the typewritten and handwritten fonts suit the theme of the opening. The colours are very dark in the openingso the ligher colours of the fonts give good contrast and stand out very well as well as connoting the fight between good and evil. The fonts are also typical of horrors/thrillers looking old and rough, using texture to appear this way. They're also very disjointed and uneven causing discomfort to the viewer and representing the theme of the movie and even the psyche of the antagonist who is the character shown in this section of the opening.
